Our First Vendor Experience!

Bismillah! Last week was a first for Green Dome Kids!

I drove up to New York City, for our first vendor experience at the Cornerstone Cruise event. I prepared by putting a table together, printing out a big banner and some brochures, and taking copies of ๐‘‚๐‘ข๐‘Ÿ ๐ต๐‘’๐‘™๐‘œ๐‘ฃ๐‘’๐‘‘ ๐‘ƒ๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ๐‘โ„Ž๐‘’๐‘ก (๐‘†), lift-a-flap board books with me.

Alhumdullilah the experience was beautiful. I loved meeting so many like-minded people, and talking about the mission of Green Dome Kids and building a love for Prophet Muhammad (S) in children. There was a comfort in knowing that so many of us see the importance of this mission for our Muslim community, and the world at large.

I wish I had taken more pictures of people at the booth, but I got so caught up in talking that I forgot to take more pics (womp, womp ๐Ÿ˜ - iA next time). I did get a picture of one lovely couple, holding a copy of our book, that they got for their child. Alhumdullilah. Thank you to everyone who messaged emojis/words of encouragement for this first vendor event! Checkout our instagram post to see more pictures.ย

As both my kids begin school, I look forward to spending more time on Green Dome Kids, and spending more time with children and caregivers, face to face. Please DM me if youโ€™re interested in doing a storytime at your local school, masjid, or organization.

I hope you have a beautiful day!
